The Artists

Well-known artists from at home and abroad and from the euregio confirmed their participation in the action "Künstler helfen Kindern" already and will create a tile in favour of the BUNTER KREIS.

The sculpturist Christopher Georgesco (www.georgescoart.com) resident of California heads the list of the international representatives. Some of Georgescos plastics are to be seen in Roermond, Netherlands. Also the participating painter Delbert McBride lives in California.

The artist Peter Unsicker, citizen of Berlin, who created among other things the plates "Berliner Pflaster", at the Friedrichstadtpalaste, participates also. "opened to the east, opened to the west and by appointment" is written right next logo of the" Wall-Street-Gallery”. Unsicker, since 1986 initiator of the workshop gallery, used the Berlin wall in front of his shop window as work and exhibition surface.

Also the tile of the artist Margit Gubin has a long journey from Schwerin. Margit Gubin got a lot of attention country wide during the football WM 2006 with her "felted Günther Netzer". (Schweriner Wollgestaltung > www.wollgestaltung.de)
From a completely different direction, locally as also creative, comes Traugott Woehrlin. Drawing and wood work are the emphasis of the Freiburger.

Of course also the Aachener artist scene is already represented: The artists Mora - Monika Radhoff Troll, the studio partnership Juri Zitrone, Charlotte Kunz and Gabriele Prill make their tile available.

Among the first is Ralf Walraff. The Aachener artist surprises again and again with his creative spectrum of photography over film up to painting.

Tiles of artists from the neighboring countries Belgium and Holland are advised.
